About Me

Hi, I’m Michelle!

I’m so glad you stopped by.

I live in a rural area, so eating out isn’t something we do very often. Most of the food we eat is made right here at home, which means I spend a lot of time in the kitchen.

I’m also busy running my online businesses, so I’m always looking for ways to make cooking easier, save time, waste less food, and get dinner on the table without making things more complicated than they need to be.

I’ve spent most of my life cooking, baking, trying new kitchen gadgets, and figuring out what actually works. I’m not a professional chef, and I don’t pretend to be. I’m just someone who has spent a whole lot of years in the kitchen and has learned plenty along the way.

I’ve been grinding my own wheat and making homemade bread for more than 20 years, and I still use the same grain grinder I bought all those years ago. I’ve also owned more bread machines than I can probably remember, tested plenty of kitchen gadgets, and learned which things are actually useful and which ones just take up space.

There were years when life was especially busy. I was running a home business, homeschooling, raising a family, and trying to get dinner on the table at the same time. That’s when I really learned to appreciate anything that could save me time, save me money, or make cooking a little easier.

These days, life has slowed down some, but I still cook all the time. I still love trying new kitchen gadgets, finding easier ways to do things, using what I already have, and figuring out what’s actually worth buying.

That’s really what Kitchvia is all about.

Here you’ll find practical kitchen tips, product reviews, helpful comparisons, bread-making advice, food-storage ideas, grocery-saving tips, easy kitchen routines, and probably a few things I discover along the way and can’t wait to tell you about.

I want the things you find here to be genuinely helpful. Not just a list of products or a bunch of fluff, but information you can actually use in your own kitchen.

If I find something that works, I’ll tell you.

If I buy something and don’t love it, I’ll tell you that too.

And if I figure out a way to save money, waste less food, organize something better, or make dinner a little easier, you can bet I’m going to share it.

So pour yourself a cup of coffee, pull up a chair, and have a look around.

I’m glad you’re here.
